Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, an American-Mexican sportscaster. Her employer is ESPN and works as an SportsCenter News Anchor. She joined ESPN in the year 2016. She's the daughter of television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is bilingual since the age of nine. Her skill was instrumental in helping her land her first job as a producer assistant at Univision Miami and Univision Miami, where she was a producer of numerous shows, including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. When she was in St. Petersburg, she was later hired by the CBS station to work as an sports reporter. In 2009 she moved to Rio Grande Valley to work as a reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley, Texas in which she was a reporter for KNVO 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In addition, she was an anchor for sports anchors and weather forecasters. Deportes 23 was Univision Dallas affiliate, where she was able to take on other responsibility. She reported on the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason, Finals FC Dallas as well the Dallas Stars. Also, she produced Univision 23's local sports show Accion Deportiva Extra, on which she served as anchor. She was a host of sports on the morning show of Despierta America Deportes. In the same capacity she also worked for Primer Impacto (a network magazine) as well as Contacto Deportivo (a UniMas Network sports channel). Antonietta's parents hail of Veracruz Mexico. She was born November 22 on the 22nd of October, 1984 in Mexico City. She has a sister. In 1992, the family left Mexico for the US and eventually settled in Miami. Her parents divorced shortly thereafter and, in 1995, she married a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 of kidney cancer. The couple stayed in Canton Ohio with her older sister in the summertime and was provided with the opportunity of a job. Antonietta was about to graduate from high school, however she knew the things she wanted to do. It was a beautiful campus and offered the degree she sought. When she completed the requirements for high school, she attended the University to pursue media studies. Mark Bergmann - her professor was also the station manager at WRMU (91.1 FM), where she belonged. Mark's passion for journalism and confidence in herself encouraged her. She in turn was determined to achieve his standards and not fail him.
